Holly von Heide is a gorgeous 9 year old long haired German Shepherd.  Don’t let her age fool you.  You can tell from her beautiful, big, bright eyes that she still has plenty of spunk!  Since her arrival to the rescue, Holly has been living in a foster home and they just sent a glowing update! She has shown great house manners, both inside and outside.  She does well traveling with you in the car.  However, she really enjoys the outdoors.  She has a medium energy level and her foster mom reports that she looks forward to her w-a-l-k every day.  At home, Holly is very affectionate.  She enjoys affection and being petted and will give you a gentle nudge for more.  She is a smart girl, she has learned her sit and stay.  She isn’t a treat grabber, she patiently waits for her turn for a snack.  Around other dogs, she prefers her space.  She would do best with a dog with a similar mellow easy going personality or be happy as your one and only.  She would love to find a home of her own where her good manners and sweet nature are encouraged and her alerts appreciated.  She’s been approved to travel, so even if you are a bit away, you can apply for Holly using the link below to start the process of making her yours.
